SessionGlance – Windows Installation Guide
This guide walks through installing the SessionGlance Windows application and configuring the Virtual Audio Cable (VB-Audio Cable).

1.1 Download the SessionGlance installer
- Log into your SessionGlance therapist portal.
- Select Download App.
- Choose the Windows version.
1.2 Run the installer
- Open your Downloads folder.
- Right-click the installer → Run as administrator.
1.3 Handle security prompts
- If Windows SmartScreen appears:
- Select More info → Run anyway.
1.4 Complete installation
- Follow Setup Wizard instructions.
- Click Finish.
- Confirm the SessionGlance icon appears.
2. Launch SessionGlance and Log In
2.1 Open the application
- Double-click the SessionGlance icon.
2.2 Log in
- Enter your username and password.
- Proceed to your dashboard.

3.1 Installing VB-Audio Cable
1. SessionGlance will prompt installation if VB-Audio Cable is not present
When launching the SessionGlance application, if VB-Audio Cable is not installed, SessionGlance will automatically prompt you to install it.
2. SessionGlance will open the installer file
After prompting installation, SessionGlance will open the appropriate VB-Audio installer file for you.
3. Run the installer as administrator
- Right-click the installer file.
- Select Run as administrator.
4. Install the driver
Click Install Driver.
5. Approve the Windows security prompt
When Windows asks if you trust the publisher, choose Allow, Yes, or Install.
6. Restart the computer
A system restart is required to ensure the VB-Audio driver loads correctly.
3.2 Configuring Virtual Audio Cable
To ensure that the virtual audio cable is receiving signal and passing audio correctly, it must be configured within Windows.
1. Open Sound Control Panel
- Right-click Volume icon → Sound settings.
- Select More sound settings.
2. Go to the Recording tab
- Locate CABLE Output or VB-CABLE A/B.
- Right-click → Properties.
3. Enable audio monitoring (Listen)
- Go to the Listen tab.
- Check Listen to this device.
- Select your headphones under Playback.
- Click Apply → OK.
3.3 VB-Audio Cable Troubleshooting

These steps ensure that audio from your telehealth application is passing through VB-AUDIO VIRTUAL CABLE and audible in your headphones.
1. Check for muted channels
- Right-click Volume icon → Open volume mixer.
- Ensure:
- The application using VB-Audio Virtual Cable is not muted.
- CABLE Input is not muted.
- Your headphones are not muted.
2. Adjust device volume levels
- Open More sound settings.
- Select CABLE Input or CABLE Output → Properties → Levels.
- Ensure volume is adequate.
3. Reinstall VB-Audio Virtual Cable (If needed)
If audio still does not pass correctly after configuration:
- Uninstall the VB-AUDIO VIRTUAL CABLE device (Device Manager or uninstaller).
- Restart your computer.
- Reinstall the VB-Audio Cable driver.
- Restart again.
